Mom's Favorites for the First 6 Months
Ring Slings
There are a variety of brands for this type of sling but the style is consistently the same. This carrier can be used as a front-facing or rear-facing carrier. While we have it categorized under the newborn category because most of our community suggested them for this age range, some individuals love these carriers through the toddler years as well! A popular brand for this type of carrier is LilleBaby.

Baby Ktan
Baby Ktan carriers are a wrap-style carrier that are pre-shaped, which makes it really easy to slip on over your head and be ready to go! They are a soft cotton material so are comfortable and do have adjustable back-straps. Because of the fact that it is a pre-shaped wrap, it is important to get a properly sized wrap so that it holds your infant close to your body in a safe manner.

Moby Wrap/Solly Wraps
These types of wrap carriers are versatile carriers that can accommodate a variety of holding positions for babies of all sizes and ages. This carrier got put in the newborn category because of how much support/comfort it can offer to infants in this age category but it can support babies through their toddler years. They allow for lots of skin-to-skin contact which is very soothing for newborn babies and for babies with minimal head control, they offer ample amounts of support. The one downside to this style of carrier is that there is a learning curve to putting on wraps. Once you know how to put them on, we promise it's worth it! Just might need to watch a few YouTube videos to figure out how to wrap and tie it.

Onbuhimo Carriers
There are a variety of brands for this type of carrier, it's the specific style that was recommended. The prices vary quite a bit for this style but the idea is that for babies who have good head control, this style offers ample amounts of support and allows you to wear the weight of them on your back vs your front. This can be really helpful for extended periods of wearing time, especially when you are actively on the go.
